Eccentric South London group Horsey are edging closer to the release of their debut LP Debonair and have shared a suitably weird and accomplished second single. Entering a whole new world (Little Mermaid pun intentional) 'Lagoon' somehow veers from piano ballad to Mario Kart theme tune vibes, interrupted occasionally by visceral moments of unhinged noise before plunging into an underwater outro. Lyrically absurd, lines like 'looks like a shallow stream, body like a ten stone bag of cream' stick out as especially outlandish. Get your ears round 'Lagoon' here now whilst we await the arrival of Debonair via the excellent untitled recs on the 30th of July. -Holly Mullineaux
